Terms of Service
Last updated: June 22, 2026
These terms govern your use of the EditSide website and our video editing services.
1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing editside.com or engaging EditSide for video editing services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
2. Our services
EditSide provides professional video editing services, including long-form and short-form edits, for content creators and businesses. The specific scope, turnaround time, number of revisions, and price are agreed for each project before work begins.
3. Bookings and communication
Submitting a “Book a Call” or contact request is a request to start a conversation — it is not a binding contract. A project is confirmed only once both parties agree on scope, timeline, and price.
4. Payments
Fees are quoted per project or plan and are due as set out in your invoice or agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, work begins after payment terms are accepted. Prices shown on the site are indicative and may change.
5. Revisions
Each plan includes a set number of revision rounds. We will work with you to get the edit right within that scope. Significant changes to the original brief may be treated as new work and quoted separately.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide the raw footage, assets, and information we need to complete your project.
- Give clear, timely feedback so we can meet agreed timelines.
- Ensure you own or have the rights to any material you send us, including footage, music, and images.
7. Intellectual property
Once a project is fully paid for, the final delivered videos are yours to use. You grant EditSide a licence to use the materials you provide solely to complete your project. Unless you ask us not to, we may showcase finished work in our portfolio and marketing.
8. Internship program
Our internship program is governed by the details published on the internship page and any agreement provided to selected interns. Participation, selection, and any stipend are at EditSide's discretion.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
Our services are provided on a reasonable-effort basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EditSide is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the project in question.
11. Termination
Either party may end an engagement in line with the agreed project terms. Fees for work already completed remain payable.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
